Her owners believed her to be a Siberian husky. I took her to my vet who thinks she is malamute not a husky. She has some meds and her leg is bandaged now. The vet think she is just a hair under a year. She is a very sweet dog but NO CATS, when her owner gave her up to me they said she was killing their cats. She is housebroken using a doggy door, walk nicely on a leash no pulling, want to be by your side. She has slept in my bed room for the few days I have had her and I have a kitten in a cat cage till it is old enough to rome freely on our place that she has never bothered . I think it may be the thrill of the chance that has her killing cats. You MUST agree to have her fixed by my vet cost $150 you pay the vet not me or you can not have her. I will not take a Oh we will get her fixed crap. If you are not willing to have my vet do it then do not bother emailing me. I would not mind her vet bill being taken care of as part of her adoption but it is more important she is health and SPAYED. I am NOT a rescue nor do I want to be. I just felt sorry for her all covered in blood and hurt that I took her in so she could get seen by a vet. Skadi was not given any proper training. She was taught to jump on people as a form of greeting, she was not taken around other dogs at that critical stage of puppy hood to socialize her properly. She was allowed to do pretty much whatever she wanted to in the back yard. As a result she is a strong Alpha female. She dose NOT get along with female dogs, nor cats or cat size dogs or any farm animals either. She is however a very loving dog and want to be by your side. She is very smart and very willing to learn. She wants to be loved on. She walks ok on a leash but needs more training. Because of her strong Alpha personality I can not exhibit her. She is up to date on shots, she will be spayed as soon as her pups are weened. Her fee will only be $30 to transfer her microchip information to her new owners.
