Pekingese dogs are very affectionate with their owners and love to show how much they love to be around them! This relatively inactive breed is easy to house in an apartment and only need a good play session to get their active fix. They are brave, sensitive, and intelligent, generally easy to train. Do not let your Pekingese develop small dog syndrome, as it is common for them to establish themselves as pack leaders. These dogs need a consistent, lovable owner who will take time to train them so they can be the best dogs they can be!
