Great with children, this dog is of a happiness & obedience. Easy to handle, they are friendly with strangers, if socialized frequently. Communication with this breed must be firm, if there is a sense of fear, they will react with an alpha personality in an attempt to become the pack leader. Not being prone to any major health issues, the cesky terrier is known for having movement problems, however not life threatening. This breed does well in apartment living. They should be trimmed regularly due to the length of their coat. Suggested 4 times a year.
