Once backed into a corner, they come out swinging, so make sure that they aren't left alone with alpha dogs. Being a powerhouse in his own right, the Bedlington may have to be told when to back down being that their bark's may be over indulgent. High stress is their natural state which makes the "Kramer" of the dog world. Health problems may occur in this breed due to heriditary issues. The Bedlington does well in apartments, however their daily excersice must be met. They love other Terrier's as company. They hardly shed, but they do require a special clipping every 6 weeks.
